ARCADIA, Calif., March 10, 2008 -- Siimpel Corporation has announced that Chee Kwan has joined the company as chief executive officer. He will also become a member of the company's board of directors. For the past 15 years, Kwan spent his career at at Conexant Systems Inc. in a variety of positions, where he was most recently senior vice president and general manager of the Embedded Wireless Networking business unit. During his tenure at Conexant, Kwan held several other key positions including vice president and business director of the company's Broadband Access products and in areas of increasing responsibilities for product management, marketing, business and technology development. Prior to Conexant, Kwan held engineering positions at several companies working primarily in the areas of telecommunications and networking technologies. Kwan graduated with an engineering degree from Harvey College and completed requirements for an economics degree from the Claremont Colleges. "I am excited to join Siimpel as chief executive officer and participate in the market inflection possibilities that Siimpel's product technology brings to the cellphone camera industry.
